Ready to Ship pieces are completed garments currently available for purchase and shipment.
Made to Order pieces are created after an order is placed and generally require 2–3 weeks for creation.
A Made-to-Order garment is created based on an existing Bweela Steptoe design concept. The overall design and aesthetic remain consistent, while fabrics, washes, trims, patchwork, or other materials may vary depending on availability.
Some garments may be available with modifications or customization. Contact Bweela to discuss what may be possible for the specific piece.
Yes. If your measurements fall outside the listed size range, contact Bweela to discuss whether the garment can be adjusted or created to accommodate your measurements.
If a piece is marked sold or unavailable, you may contact Bweela to ask whether a similar piece, Made-to-Order version, or bespoke option may be possible.
Bespoke means a garment is individually developed specifically for you. The design can be created around your measurements, fit, preferences, fabrics, colors, silhouette, construction details, and intended occasion or use.
The process begins with a 45-minute Bespoke Design Consultation. During the consultation, we discuss your vision, measurements, fit, design direction, fabrics, colors, construction details, intended use, and overall project scope.
If you decide to move forward, the garment is individually quoted based on the design, materials, complexity, construction, and services required.

The consultation is dedicated to discussing and developing the direction of your potential bespoke garment, including design concept, fit, measurements, fabrics, color, silhouette, construction details, occasion, and project scope.
The consultation fee is separate from the garment cost. However, if you move forward with a Bespoke garment commission of $600 or more, the $95 consultation fee will be credited toward the final project price.

Yes. Bespoke garments can be developed around a particular occasion, event, performance, celebration, or personal vision.
Revamp Your Closet transforms garments you already own through tailoring, resizing, reconstruction, embellishment, deconstruction, creative modifications, and other garment enhancements.
Bring garments you’d like to resize, adjust, reconstruct, update, embellish, or creatively transform. Each garment is evaluated individually to determine what the construction allows.
Yes, depending on the garment’s construction. Revamping can include resizing, adding fabric to increase size, adjusting fit, reconstruction, and other modifications.
In some cases, yes. Additional fabric can sometimes be incorporated to increase the size or improve the fit while preserving the character of the original garment.
Some garments can be significantly reconstructed or transformed, while others may have limitations based on their construction. The possibilities are discussed during your consultation.
Yes. Your initial 30-minute Revamp Your Closet consultation is complimentary and can be conducted in person or virtually.
Additional consultation time is available at $65 for a full 60-minute consultation. Because the booking system does not prorate consultation time, additional time must be booked as a full 60-minute consultation.
No. The $65 fee applies only to additional consultation time. The actual revamping, tailoring, reconstruction, or garment work is quoted separately based on what your garment requires.
Every garment is different. After evaluating the garment and discussing what you would like done, Bweela will provide a separate quote for the actual work.
Yes. Revamp consultations are available virtually for clients outside the New York City area. For New York residents we have the opportunity to meet in person if you would like to.
It is a consultation for individuals who need technical or developmental guidance for a fashion project, garment, or collection.
It can be useful for emerging designers, creatives, entrepreneurs, or anyone developing a garment or fashion concept who needs technical guidance.
Topics may include garment construction, technical development, patternmaking, technical flats, tech packs, sample development, fit, production considerations, and other fashion-development needs.
The Fashion Development Consultation is 60 minutes and costs $125. The fee covers the consultation itself. Any subsequent technical, patternmaking, development, or other project work is quoted separately.
Financing options may be available for eligible purchases through participating third-party financing providers. Visit the Financing Optionspage to explore available providers and apply directly through the provider of your choice.
When financing is available for your purchase, you can select an available financing provider and complete the application process directly with that provider. Approval, credit terms, payment schedules, and eligibility are determined by the financing provider and are subject to its terms and conditions.
No. Financing is provided and administered by the third-party financing provider. Bweela Steptoe does not determine financing approval, credit terms, interest rates, payment schedules, or eligibility.
